Suggested Use

Recommended Use: Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a diuretic, diaphoretic and alternative to help remove accumulated waste products via the kidneys, skin and mucus membranes.

Recommended Dose: DIRECTIONS AND RECOMMENDED USE: Each packet in this box makes 1 litre (32 oz.) of tea when prepared according to the instructions on package insert. To prepare the herbal tea, see the package insert for instructions.

• Adults: Take 3 tablespoons of the prepared tea, 3 times daily. The prepared tea can be diluted with an equal amount of hot water prior to consumption. Ensure tea is sufficiently warm for optimal results. Sip slowly. Preferably, take ½ an hour before breakfast and lunch, and on an empty stomach before bed.

Cautions & Warnings: Detoxification reactions include mild headaches, nausea, and flu like symptoms may occur. In such case, reduce initial dose to one tablespoon daily for the first week and gradually increase to the suggested adult dosage thereafter. THE HERBAL TEA YOU PREPARE MUST BE KEPT REFRIGERATED AT ALL TIMES (DO NOT FREEZE). Tea contains no preservatives. Treat tea in opened containers as a perishable food and use within 21 days. Opened containers of tea that have been unrefrigerated for over 24 hours must be discarded. For occasional use only. Do not use if you: 1) are pregnant or breastfeeding 2) are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy/Polygonaceae/Brassicaceae family 3) are taking products containing diuretics 4) have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of hands, face and feet). Do not exceed the recommended dose unless suggested by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a medical condition or if you are taking any medications. Discontinue use if abdominal pain, diarrhea or vomiting occurs for over 3 days. Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heartbeat and/or difficulty breathing. Keep out of reach of children. For your protection, Flor•Essence® Dry Herbal Cleanse has been packaged in tamper-resistant, foil-lined, imprinted packets. Do not use if any packet is torn or has holes in it.
